Mark C. Ibanez spent approximately ten years working for J.P. Morgan Asset Management. In his most recent role, Mark was a Vice President responsible for sourcing and acquiring all new real estate investments located in the Midwest region, made on behalf of J.P Morgan’s institutional client base. In his capacity as an Acquisition Officer, Mark focused on sourcing and acquiring core, value-add and opportunistic real estate investments across eleven Midwest states. Prior to his acquisition responsibilities, Mark was the asset manager of a 9.3 million-square-foot portfolio of office properties, regional malls, lifestyle centers, grocery-anchored centers, “high-street” retail centers, and two retail development projects. During his tenure at J.P. Morgan, Mark was involved with transactions totaling more than $800 million including capitalizing new development projects, acquiring company interests and acquiring and disposing of direct real estate. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Global Real Assets, Mark worked for J.P. Morgan’s Private Banking division as an Investment Officer managing a $2.0 billion diversified portfolio of private client assets.
Mark earned a B.S.B.A. in Finance, cum laude, from The Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business with concentrations in Analytical Finance, Economics and Entrepreneurship.
